To the incredibly brilliant, kind, and lovely soul who sent me the package this morning, thank you. I love it so much, and I'm sure - no, I know that every single person is jealous of my hat. So, does this mean I've done something good in the last couple of weeks? Karma, and all that? At any rate, to all the lovely ladies who live in my dorm, I know it will be an extremely hard task, but try not to nick my new favorite hat while I'm sleeping, yeah?
In other news, I saw Pomfrey this morning before class, so James, stop stressing. Completely fine. I told you so.
Oh, and anyone up for helping me out with the Arthimancy essay? I'd usually ask Chastain to talk me through it, but ever since the journal debacle second week back, I've been her least favorite person. Which is something I don't even want to get into since I believe the whole situation was handled so poorly. A month's detention? Really, Chastain?

WARDED AGAINST STAFFSo, I'm still getting punished for something I did seven days ago. To make matters worse, even when I'm serving out the detention, she refuses to answer questions about the coursework. So, in short, for doing something as little as reading my journal in class, I get a month's detention, and a lifetime of being on Chastain's black list. Fantastic. So much for being a fair professor. It wasn't like I was talking. I could have been discussing Arithmancy with the rest of the student body.
Quidditch trials were the light shining on a terrible, terrible day, so at least that's something. WARDED TO FABIAN & VONNIEI'm bored. Are you bored?
